Operational objectives and programs

5. Conducting targeted programs for street children 2.6.1 Conducting anti-narcotics awareness programs for street children through various street plays, pamphlets, songs and music. 2.6.2 Conduct activities to help street children rehabilitate in society in collaboration with non-governmental organizations. 2.6.3 Encouraging various individuals and organizations to achieve guardianship of street children. 2.7. Mobilizing the mass media in the anti-narcotics campaign and spreading the information 2.7.1 Orienting the mass media to raise public awareness against the drugs. 2.7.2 Encouraging drug-related investigative journalism. 2.7.3 Mobilizing the media in drug-related information flow. 2.7.4 Encouraging and supporting various individuals and organizations to produce drug-related awareness material. 2.7.5 To use filmmakers to spread awareness and change behavior in communities that are at risk of drug addiction through movies. 2.7.6 To reward/encourage literature, music, audio-visual materials, artists, media and media who make excellent contributions in the anti-narcotics campaign. Objective 3 Program to increase the access of drug users to quality, reliable and trustworthy treatment and rehabilitation services 3.1. Conducting social reintegration programs 3.3.1 To reduce recidivism, to conduct life-use programs to develop skill development, income generation, and entrepreneurship. In order to make this program more effective, the necessary psycho-social support should also be arranged systematically. 4.1.3 Management and monitoring of the supply and quality of drugs used in the oral replacement program in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population, Drug Administration Department. 4.1.4 To manage the necessary trained manpower, minimum physical and technical facilities for oral replacement therapy. 4.1.5 In order to prevent drugs used in oral replacement therapy from being illegally sold in the market, coordination between the Ministry of Health and Population and law enforcement agencies to arrange appropriate control arrangements. 4.2. Other Harm Reduction Program Operation 4.2.1 Managing safe needles, condoms, etc. through a community-based comprehensive involvement program. Conducting special programs for female drug users 4.3.1 Conducting awareness programs for women who use drugs orally or through injection. Such programs should be expanded even within prisons. 4.3.2 Giving special priority to the health problems of female drug users. 4.3.3 Using safe needles and raising public awareness about safe sex. 4.3.4 To conduct special programs for the livelihood of female drug users. 4.3.5 Giving special emphasis to the social rehabilitation of the family and community of female drug users. Objective 5 - Necessary cooperation program between various agencies concerned with the prevention and control of drugs 5.1. Emphasis on cooperation 5.1.1 To bring effectiveness in risk and damage reduction programs, conduct awareness programs to change the negative perceptions of policy makers, agencies involved in law enforcement and the community. 5.1.2 To expand the risk and harm reduction program and ensure the access of the target group, make former drug users, drug users and stakeholders participate from the program formulation. 5.1.3 Mobilizing the technical and financial support received from various donor agencies based on need. Objective 6
